Maca coffee, in three formats

Maca root grows at altitude in the Peruvian Andes, and it has been used there as a daily food for centuries. It is also the earthy, malty note in the cup.

Every blend in this collection starts the same way: single-origin Arabica and a supercritical CO2 extract of maca and guarana, with no ethanol or hexane in the herbal extraction process. What changes between the three is mostly the format. The sachets use Arabica roasted and ground in our own Taipei facility, and the 20g sachet adds tongkat ali.

SFE Maca and Guarana Coffee, 10g stick. The hot-cup version. One stick into 150 to 200 ml of hot water, stir until it dissolves. In 6 and 12 sachet packs.

SFE Maca and Guarana Coffee Tabs. The same two botanicals, compressed into a tab with freeze-dried Arabica instead of ground. No dairy creamer and no added sugar. The sweetness is a small amount of lactose, a milk sugar. Built for travel, in 5, 10 and 20 packs.

SFE Tongkat Ali Maca Guarana Coffee, 20g sachet. The original blend, and the only one in the range that carries tongkat ali alongside maca and guarana. In 8 and 16 sachet packs.

Powder, capsules, or maca already in your coffee

Powder is the cheapest way to buy maca by the gram and it is the right answer if you already blend a smoothie every morning. Capsules are simpler again, and if you are taking them and it is working, nothing here beats that.

What a coffee does is different. It attaches maca to something you were going to do anyway. You are already making a cup in the morning. The maca is already in it. Nothing to measure, nothing to disguise, nothing extra to remember.

All three contain caffeine, from the coffee and from the guarana seed, and are not recommended for children or pregnant women. All three contain milk, from a dairy creamer in the sachets and from lactose in the tabs, so none is suitable for anyone with a milk allergy or lactose intolerance.
