Coffee Brewing Method 6: AeroPress
正啟 GLOBALEYESShare this news
Invented roughly two decades ago, the AeroPress is both a fascinating and simple way to brew coffee. Thanks to its lightweight design, it’s highly portable, making it a favorite for travelers and outdoor enthusiasts. The AeroPress combines the immersion technique of a French press, the paper filtration of pour-over, and the pressure-based extraction of espresso. By using a syringe-like plunger, you press down on coffee grounds that have been thoroughly mixed with hot water, resulting in a flavor-rich cup that retains the beans’ original characteristics. You can also adjust the pore size of the filter—whether paper or metal—to fine-tune your desired mouthfeel. See also Siphon brewing method. See also Moka Pot brewing method. On top of that, the AeroPress is straightforward to operate: just add water and press, and you’ve got a fresh cup of coffee. Its ease of use and versatility have led to its growing popularity.
